I left on the same day to El Salvador, and after a night spend in Honduras close to the border, I arrived on thursday evening in El Zonte beach, on the salvadorian pacific coast. I stayed there 4 nights, to relax after a long time changing places almost every day. I also took my first surf lesson… I liked it but I dislocated my shoulder so I will wait some time before trying again.

Et une roue crevée sur le trajet 🙂

I left on monday may the 1st (bad idea, because it was labour day) and after 7 buses and two borders (To go to Nicaragua from El Salvador by land you have no choice but to cross Honduras), I arrived in the evening in Leon, Nicaragua, which I visited the day after.

On sunday the 7th, I left to Costa Rica. I spent one night in San Jose, the capital city, before going south. My initial plan was to hike the Chirripó, the highest summit of the country. Unfortunately you have to book in advance a night in the altitude camp, and I was to late. I change plans and went to the Drake bay, where I had heard of the beayuty of the beaches and the nature. I arrived there on tuesday the 9th, and stayed until thursday. I walked around and was able to enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora.

On the night of friday the 12th I took a night bus to Panama city, to get ready for the next step of my trip: I am now a volunteer on tours called “San Blas Adventures” that go from Panama to Colombia (and back) on boats, in 4 days, going through the beautiful San Blas islands. I’ll do several trips, the first one starting on may the 15th, which was the reason I had to hurry a little for the end of central america…I’ll tell you all about it in the next post! Some shots of Panama City to end this one.
